About UMASA UMASA is a muslim organisation for united muslims living in South Africa. It was created as a non profit making organisation founded under the basic principals and teachings of Islam. The Organisation has its location in the heart of Johannesburg South Africa’s Mayfair town. The organisation is one of the fastest growing non profit making in the Entire Central and Southern Africa           Mission In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Kind. Masjid Hijra is committed to the Islamic way of life based on the Qur'an and the life examples of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). We serve as a center of religious development, social, educational, economical, and cultural enrichment. We believe in the Oneness of Allah and the oneness of humanity. We are committed to promoting excellence in community life and human dignity throughout our neighborhoods, cities, and country. We strive to provide charitable and humanitarian help to the entire community as well as to reach out and present the Islam through our educational Da'wah Program and cultural activities, which are consistent with the teachings and the principles of Islam. We contribute to strengthen the bonds between Muslims and Non-Muslims alike by establishing a united community through effective interfaith partnerhips, tolerance, and respect to all the people. UMASA Portfolio We are based in Mayfair at no.1 15th avenue corner Church Street. Our main operations are taking place in Johannesburg and the surrounding  areas, but our target is to operate in the entire Southern Africa because our members are dispersed all over. Also our services can be extended to all our well-wishers all over the world. Services: our services include the following; Charitable services Bursaries... UMASA Services to Our Community UMASA has been spear heading a number of community outreaches including orphanages as well as street kids. We have also enabled a platform for community help centres in and arround Johannesburg some of them iclude but not limited to Charitable services, Bursaries, Teaching Islamic studies...
